The true meaning of Christmas

This year we had a fantastic program for our ward party. We had some talented people sing, play the piano and speak. Here are a few of them:
Trenton was asked to play a rendition of "O Little Town of Bethlehem." He did a great job.
Cody sang in the primary choir:
Kylee sang with a group of five ladies, "The First Noel" This was such a great program.

For a few years now we have been able to go the the Christmas Devotional. It is such an amazing and spiritual way to start the Christmas season. We LOVE seeing the 1st Presidency and listen to their inspired message.

I love traditions, and starting new ones. This year we read "Christmas with the prophets." It tells how each of the prophets celebrated Christmas and then a message from them. That was fun. We also read a book called "Jacob Marley." It told the story of the Christmas Carol from Marley's point of view not Scrooge's. We loved this book. One of our favorite traditions is going to Temple Square.
Here were are eating at the Nauvoo Cafe:
Kylee and I in front of the tree in the Joseph Smith Building. I love having a daughter:
It is so beautiful:
