Off to School 2010

I hate that old Staple commercial where the dad is singing, "The most wonderful time the year" while he is back to school shopping. This is not the most wonderful time, but I try to make it fun. For breakfast, Bryce made the kids these pancakes. Here is a close up. This was Cody's plate. They all had the ABC and 123 and their grade:

After much thought and trying outfits on - Kylee looks so beautiful in the outfit she picked:

All of my kids were starting new schools this year. So they were nervous about getting around. Trenton looks so good walking the halls:

Of course Kylee had to get all the stuff to decorate her locker:

She is having so much fun with Jr High. Now that she found out she is not sharing a locker she says she needs more stuff!

Then it was off to the elementary to take my baby to 4th grade. When did he get so old?

Here he is at his desk. He looks so cute. Like every year he says, "My teacher is the luckiest teacher because she gets to spend all day with me!" He does not lack confidence.

The most favorite thing for the kids they get to walk home from school with friends. The last time any of my kids got to walk home was Trenton in 2nd grade. So this is fun for them - at least for now.

They had a great day at school. They all have great teachers and are excited for the school year. I, on the other hand, spent a lot of the day in tears. Summer was way too short!
